Founded in 1997 by cancer survivor and champion cyclist, Lance Armstrong, the LAF provides the practical information and tools people living with cancer need to live strong. Our mission is to inspire and empower people with cancer to live strong. We serve our mission through education, advocacy, public health and research programs. Jen's Friends - Jen’s Friends Cancer Foundation provides supplemental financial assistance and resources to uninsured and underinsured cancer patients in the Mt. Washington Valley region. Financial support is tailored to the individual’s needs, and may include having rent or utility bills paid, or accounts established at grocery stores or pharmacies. Childcare costs are covered, as well as travel expenses to and from chemotherapy and radiation treatments. Camp Boggy Creek - We are a year round camp for seriously ill children and offer weeklong summer sessions for the children and family retreat weekends for the whole family. There is no charge to the children or families who come to Boggy Creek. Camp Boggy Creek is a proud member of The Association of Hole In The Wall Camps. The Mission of Camp Boggy Creek is to enrich the lives of children who have chronic or life threatening illnesses by creating camping experiences that are memorable, exciting, fun, empowering, physically safe and medically sound. The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society - is the world's largest voluntary health organization dedicated to funding blood cancer research, education, and patient services.
